Microfabricated chemical/electrical/mechanical interface systems for synthetic biology.

Cellular BioMEMS for cell culture, sorting, patterning and cancer cell metastasis including the study of embryo development.

Micro‐/nanofluidics for (bio-)molecule detection, separation and concentration.

Biophysical studies and mechanistic modelings of the responses of cells and proteins to mechanical and electrical disturbances.
